Born in Venezuela, Ronald started his musical studies at the age of 7 in the System of Venezuelan Youth Orchestras, where he served as concermaster for several years in the Merida Youth Orchestra. He was also a winner and only representation of Venezuela in the YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011 which was the most viewed livestreaming event, from the Sydney Opera House under Michael Tilson Thomas. Ronald received advises from distinguished violinists such as Maurice Hasson, Virginie Robilliard, Alexis Cardenas, Philip Setzer (Emerson String Quartet), David Geber, Daniel Phillips, Dmitri Berlinski, Alex Kerr and Giora Schmidt. With a Bachelor of Music degree from “Universidad de los Andes” under the guidance of violinist Simon Gollo, and a Master of Music in Violin Performance degree from PennState University under the guidance of violinist Max Zorin, Ronald resides now in the U.SA.

Ronald has been an member of the violin section in the PA Centre Orchestra for the past 3 years where his excellent playing has been a great asset to the string section.
