My name is Jason and I am writing this letter about my desire, passion, and love of being a musician. I anticipate once completion of this letter, you will share the same emotions and feelings I have as a musician and wanting to focus on the arts as a career. I began my journey with music when I was ten. I began playing the viola and with the assistance of my orchestra class in middle school, high school, and private training, I would be trapped within confines; my beginning days  influenced my current status as a musician. I have been playing the viola and violin collectively together for 25 years; I would consider myself a professional per hours played/performed and the current level I am. I am Suzuki trained and read music. As a result, I have begun to retrace my steps and go back to the basics and help those interested in pursuing these instruments due to the arts getting cut from school funding. This coincides with my desire to open an arts center for aspiring artists and to help local self employed people. I feel comfortable teaching those that have a foundation first and possibly observe a beginner class.; it is easier for me to convey. My passion was realized with many live gig opportunities that allowed me the ability to strengthen my improvisation skills and playing by ear, which is convenient for on the fly cover requests. I have made a connection with my friends, spectators, vacationers, parents, businesses, charity events, and most importantly,  my family. Everyone supports my style and how I incorporate my skills and control equates to a perfect balance. My next chapter is my desire and need to give back to the community; there is a demand for the arts and a stabilization of it as well; we are responsible for developing their artistic abilities. I am excited to share my passion with every aspiring musician.
