I am a classically trained musician who has been teaching for 19 years. I teach a variety of styles. In my instruction I include technical training, theory, sight reading, and ear training.

Private Education:
Studied privately under Mrs. Vanderpool, Julliard graduate, at the Eastman School of Music for 5 years. Also studied harmony, composition, and performance at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY.
Performing Experience:
Accompanist for various choruses since 1980. Also performed in a Top 40 country band, as well as blues bands and vocal performance groups. Performed on live radio for 3 years in Rochester, NY.
Experience Teaching:
Taught at Piano and Organ center, Music and Arts, and Piano distributors. Also taught out of private studios since 1996.
