I started playing guitar at 16, after seeing Van Halen 51-50 tour. Up to that point I didn't know what I wanted to do.  Soon after I became friends with another guitar player who was a couple of years ahead of me, Josh Barnette, I picked up the fundamentals from him. I then began taking guitar lessons from Mike Williams at Austin City Music. I took lessons from Scotty Dalhover of Dangerous Toys who taught me the real approach to guitar, not Mary Had a Little Lamb or Tom Dooley. I played in bands MeanStreet, Madhouse in the Austin club scene, playing notable venues such as Antone's, The Backroom, Steamboat, Liberty Lunch, Babes on 6th, and The Metro to name a few. Played two years at Bayfest in Corpus Christi, Tx with Madhouse. I've played with many talented musicians such as Josh Barnette of Brett McCormick Band, Brad Hudson of Raging Saint and G-Loc, Don Turnley of Raging Saint, Justin McBrain to name a few.
