Darna holds a Masters Degree in Music Composition from Oklahoma City University and did her undergraduate study at the University of Oklahoma. She has written 3 Piano Sonatas, 1 Violin Sonata, a Sacred Choral work, 2 Arias for Soprano and Ensemble and a full Symphony along with other assorted chamber works. Most of her original works are in the Sacred Classical medium.
She taught Piano for 10 years at her own Octaves Piano Studio in Bellevue, WA where she hosted students between ages 5 and 12, holding two annual recitals.
She is currently developing other talents such as writing Christian articles and Poetry. She also has several manuscripts in the process of publication.
