Hi, my name is Mark. I've been teaching private music lessons for 8 years. I've also taught elementary school classes and youth theory classes. Additionally, I have more than 15 years experience teaching kids and adults tennis. I can teach piano, guitar, bass, drums, hand drums/percussion, and music theory. I like to teach people the skill of music for a life time of enjoyment. Music is a profound form of expression that can enrich our lives in several ways. I teach with music that resonates with the student. I try to approach music from a feel first perspective instead of music first. In the end it becomes a combination of understanding the written music and theory but more importantly hearing and feeling the rhythm of the music. I produce music as well and like to encourage my students to create their own music as well.
