I have spent over ten years playing the guitar. An instrument that has completely changed my life for the better over the years. I have yet to find a greater joy in anything else and I would find great satisfaction in sharing this gift with others who may also feel inspired by this beautiful instrument.
Matthew Co. has over 10 years of music experience in the Norman area.
Matthew Co. is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
3 years collegiate experince finishing music theory I through IV and music lit I and II which included classical study, ear training, sight singing, standard notation study, and part writing in 4 voices.
Private Education:
5 years of combined private lessons with 3 different instructors including 3 years training in classical guitar with a professor on the collegiate level.
Performing Experience:
Classical guitar ensemble with the college as well as multiple recitals in front of school music board. I have also played in several local groups playing over a combined 60 shows in multiple venues.
Experience Teaching:
Taught friends and family for years.
