About Me

Well, I will start by stating that I am 24 years old and currently live in Dacula, GA. I have been studying music in general since I was roughly 10 years old and playing guitar, specifically, since I was 13 years old. I have studied both music and guitar through self-teaching via the Internet (articles and videos- theory, technique, etc.), in addition, through private lessons with Michael Mieske, as well as through courses in both high and college (Columbia College of Chicago).

Tyler G. has over 10 years of music experience in the Dacula area.

Formal Education:

I have taken courses in high school and college (Columbia College of Chicago) learning Music Theory to Instrumental Performance in Guitar, among other things. Additionally, I have taken guitar lessons from Michael Mieske.

Performing Experience:

I was in a church band from 14-15 years old and I have occasionally performed for friends and family for various purposes, be it general entertainment or a special event.

Experience Teaching:

I have taught a few friends and family members about music in general, in addition to guitar specific teachings. Although, I have not yet taught as a profession (through any company/organization).
