Mark is a professional musician and instructor who specializes in teaching woodwinds: Saxophone, Flute, and Clarinet). He began playing professionally at the age of 17. He works with several different jazz, R & B and rock groups in the DC area. During his college years he performed with Subway out of Morgantown, WV and opened for The Coasters, The Crystals, The Drifters, The Marvelettes, and Archie Bell. He currently teaches woodwinds in the DC area. Mark has performed at some of DC’s finest venues including the White House, the Kennedy Center, Wolf Trap and the National Press Club. He enjoys playing with The Fabulous Dialtones, and he loves the opportunity to work with fine musicians playing great Classic Rock music.

I have known Mark for over 20 years, since he started playing with my Sax quartet. He is a strong player and an excellent all around musician, well versed in both classical and jazz styles. Mark has also been teaching privately at Foxes music for close to twenty years. He is a dedicated and knowledgeable teacher, as well as very personable and warm with his students. I would say he is one of our most popular teachers. I can't recommend Mark highly enough. He is not only a great teacher, but very professional and responsible as well.
