Rick has been a professional Guitarist, Composer and Music Educator for more than 40 years. A graduate of the Musician's Institute in Los Angeles, Rick has performed in countless bands playing Top 40 to original instrumental fusion and everything in between. As a composer, Rick works from his own Wild Horse Studio writing and producing music for licensing. His original compositions have been used by Disney, Special Olympics of Southern California, and Novartis Pharmaceuticals, just to name a few. As a teacher, Rick has taught literally thousands of guitar lessons, from beginners to advanced. In genres ranging from Classic Rock, to Country, to Blues, Rick puts his focus on teaching his students the music that they want to learn to play.

What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
Students can expect to learn chords (from basic to advanced) and how to play a rhythm pattern as applied to any given song. Scales and how to use them. Proper picking technique if they choose to use a flat pick. Basic music theory, and how to use it in their everyday guitar playing. They can expect to have fun!

Graduate of Musician's Insitute, (GIT) Hollywood CA.

Several years of private guitar instruction.

More than 40 years playing with various bands local, regional and touring. Top 40, rock, fusion.
