About Me
I attended Berklee College of Music where I received my degree in Songwriting with piano as my principal instrument. I graduated Magna cum Laude, and won the performer/songwriter contest for the spring 1996 semester. I am part of the class of 1996. I performed piano music for a few years with the now famous Blue Man Group in Boston, MA. I also played piano music for the famous Union Oyster House Restaurant in Boston. I worked at Burrage Music company in Raleigh, NC for four years as a researcher and order processor of modern and classical music. I have taught privately in the Newton Grove area for several years, and I am moving to Southport, NC where I would like to teach piano and songwriting. I am the Music Director for Keener United Methodist Church. I have played piano and organ for six years, and I lead the adult and youth choirs. I am a performer/songwriter as well, and have studied under Jon Aldridge of three dog night fame as well as Livingston Taylor. I bring experience and enthusiasm to my teaching.

Performing Experience:
I am a host/performer of the open mic night at Fresh Cafe, Fayetteville, NC 2 years. I was a pianist and performer at Charles Playhouse with Blue Man Group for 2 years. I also have performed for church services,weddings, and funerals in piano, organ, and choir directing for 15 years.
Experience Teaching:
I have taught for 3 years in the Newton Grove, NC area. I briefly taught piano at the Cary School of Music in Cary, NC before moving to Newton Grove. I taught songwriting for 2 years in Boston.
