After being taught by Bryan Stevenson (studio owner, musician, producer, performer, song writer, artist, etc.) from the time I was 11 until approximately the age of 17, when he could no longer teach me any further, I began to play occasional shows with him. This has given me perspective and insight into what it takes to be a musician, and indeed the passion that goes along with it. Over the years, music (playing guitar in particular), has become a very vital part of me. When things go wrong, picking up a guitar is my antidote. I wish to teach others so that they may find the same salvation in their passion for music as I do. I believe music is an extremely efficient way to bring out who you are as a person, and I wish to employ this idea in my occupation.
