Born and raised in New York in the rural beach community of Southampton, Growing up music was always a big part of life. From a very young age there was always an eclectic blend of blues, rock, and acoustic music being played on the record player in the household. Schooled by listening to the greats, music became a root deeply seated in the soul. At nine years old piano lessons began the personal journey into playing many instruments. Throughout this journey picking up the main instrument of guitar at age thirteen and saxophone at age twenty-two. Along the way studying classical theory and composition at the College of Charleston, SC as well as jazz theory, composition, and performance at Five Towns College in NY where an associates was earned. Currently, at 28 years old, after tutoring other students at college and teaching private lessons for 7 years moved to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to continue teaching a balanced approach to music to students of all ages.
