My name is Josh and I am a current student at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs. My pursuit is towards music and teaching theory in college. In order to apply the concepts that I am studying in school, I can craft and devise a curriculum and teach it in coincidence with my own study timeline. Nevertheless, I started by learning how to play piano and took lessons for about 5 years. Then I picked up guitar and began playing for a local church on Sundays and Saturdays while taking lessons. Then I taught myself how to play the drums and played for Sunday services as well. I then became infatuated with cello and its blend within an orchestra, playing for symphony orchestra as 1st chair and 2nd chair. Further down the line, I taught private guitar lessons and guitar lessons at a local shop. Currently, I am in a rap group known as the No Names. But with all of that said, I am just extremely excited about this opportunity to teach aspiring musicians!
