About Me
Fun and energetic piano teacher with three years experience giving private piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Intelligent, versatile, and fully educated in advanced music theory. Excellent with children and competent with adults; beginners and professionals alike enjoy my intuitive and adaptable music regimen.
I also play the ukulele, accordion, and mandolin and can teach these to a beginner to intermediate level.
Miles C has over 13 years of study, 3 year years of music experience in the Lancaster area.
Miles C is proficient in and teaches Keyboard and Piano Lessons .Formal Education:
Bachelor in Music Performance - Piano at Millersville University.
Private Education:
Five years combined private lessons from Beth Dickinson of CVSM and Len Meledandri, Jonny Costa's mentee and pianist on Mr. Roger's Neighborhood.
Performing Experience:
Numerous recitals, concerts, and rock "gigs" at Shippensburg University, including the Wine and Cheese Festival, ARTShip, SU Earth Day, Faculty Picnic, and Evening of Jazz.
Experience Teaching:
Three years providing private lessons to students aged 7 to 55. Back when I could afford to, I operated on a pay-what-you-can basis to benefit poor students and bring private music education to the working class.
