Rebecca S.-
Keyboard and Piano Lessons
Home
2 Years
I grew up in Chicago suburbs and started piano lessons at the age of 6. Starting as a teenager, I have played piano and other instruments with my church. I am a recent graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, where I started to play with orchestras, both on cello and piano for concerto opportunities. As part of my studies I have taught and tutored a variety of musical subjects including music theory, music history, world music, and beggining private piano lessons. In addition to teaching proper technique and quality repertoire, I believe that fun practice incentives and a close attention to what each student enjoys is a critical part of quality teaching.

Rebecca was my student teacher and she had a great time working with our students at the middle school level. Working as a private instructor I'm sure she would be excellent with communication and teaching techniques for the students. Karen Blair wrote on Wed, 08 Feb 2017

Rebecca (Reba) is a very well-qualified musician who is able to adapt and communicate; she is full of integrity and honesty; she will throw herself 100% into her lessons, planning, and especially into her students. I highly recommend her to you. J. Michael Fox wrote on Fri, 10 Feb 2017
