Andresis a tenor who graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Music in Voice Performance from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. His vocal journey began at age 16 at the Casa de la Cultura in ChÃa, Colombia, where he studied piano and voice under the guidance of Valeria Bibliowicz (Universidad de los Andes) and Viviana Rojas (Universidad Central). He also received training in music history and theory during this formative period. Andres pursued undergraduate studies in voice at Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas in Bogotá, where he was mentored by Professor Juan David Rojas (MM, Texas Christian University) and studied piano with Svetlana Solodovnikova (St. Petersburg Conservatory, Russia). During his time in Colombia, he sang with the Fundación Universitaria Juan N. Corpas Chorus in collaboration with the Juvenile Philharmonic Chorus and Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogotá, and performed in the opera chorus for Muerte Accidental de un Anarquista. After transferring to UNC Charlotte, Andres continued his studies under Dr. Carl DuPont (BM, MM Eastman School of Music; PhD, Frost School of Music) and soprano Christina Pier (BM, MM Indiana University), further refining his vocal technique and artistic expression.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
I’ll guide you through the fundamentals of proper breathing, vocal projection, and producing a healthy, sustainable sound. Together, we’ll work on vocal warm-ups, expanding your range, and developing your musicality. We’ll also learn songs and repertoire that you’re interested in to keep lessons both fun and personalized.

Beginner - Intermediate
In my piano lessons, students can expect a supportive and engaging environment where learning is tailored to their goals and skill level. We’ll focus on developing strong foundational techniques, reading music, understanding rhythm, and building musical expression. Whether you're a beginner or looking to grow your skills, we'll explore a variety of styles and pieces to keep lessons both educational and fun. I also emphasize consistent practice habits and creative exploration to help students grow at their own pace.
