Review:

Wonderful private instructor

I highly recommend Matthew to anyone who is looking for a competent, professional, respectful instructor who loves what he does. My daughter decided to switch from orchestra to percussion at the end of her 6th-grade year. Matthew came to our home several times a week for lessons over the summer to teach her the basics and get her caught up with her other classmates. She went into the 7th grade not only prepared for percussion but ahead of the other 7th graders in her class. I am very happy with Matthew's professionalism during lessons. He is very good at what he does and it shows. He enjoys what he does and he loves sharing his knowledge with his students. He is not like other instructors who are there for the hour and watching the clock to make sure they end exactly on time. I actually had to remind him that he'd gone over sometimes because they were having so much fun playing. He is very good building your child up when they are doing good and giving constructive feedback if your child is messing up. If your child is not picking up on something, he will work with them until they do before he goes on to the next step. He truly makes the learning experience fun and enjoyable. Matthew C

Matthew C is a great percussion teacher in both areas of concert and marching. He taught our students at McIntosh High School and we were pleased with his knowledge and professionalism. Barbara Baker wrote on Mon, 24 Apr 2017
