I am a percussion instructor for about any percussion instrument you can name. My biggest influences are people like Neil Peart, Travis Barker, Mike Portnoy, Buddy Rich, Bob Bryar, Chad Smith, Stewart Copeland, Floyd "Bud" Gaugh, Tre Cool. It is not a drummer's style that makes him good- it is his diversity. I love to play any kind of new and challenging style of drumming and add it into my everyday style of playing, whether it be jazz, rock, country, metal, punk, swing, or reggae- there is always something new to learn.

Performing Experience:
I ahve performed numerous times with numerous people in Nashville. I recorded with Jesse Couch, Fouled Out, and spent three years in a California style reggae punk band. I spent 1 1/2 years with a pop punk alternative band. My whole musical career I have been in and out of various jazz, blues, and country bands. I have performed with just about every percussion instrument you may want to learn, and every style you can think of.
Experience Teaching:
I taught private lessons with both Rucker Middle School students and Gallatin High students. I love to challenge every one of my students with things they never thought of that will help them better perform and better enjoy what they do. I hope I can help every student that loves doing this to further their career and make that possible. I know what my life would have been like without the ones that taught me, so I just want to pass along that favor.
