Hello! My name is Lucero, but my former students know me as Mrs. Lucy. I am a Texan that recently moved to California. My passion for music and teaching is undeniable. I love to see my students grow as individuals and musicians! My husband and I do not have any kids yet, but we are proud parents of a lovely black scottie named Serene.

I have obtained my Bachelors in Music Education from the University of Texas-Pan American in Edinburg, TX.
Performing Experience:
I sang with the university's 1 o'clock Latin Band. We performed Latin Jazz & Salsa concerts for university events & around local cities. My classically trained education required weekly seminar performances for our peers and receive critique. While in college I sang with a Latin band called Latin Beat over 4 years. We performed for private events such as weddings, quinceañeras and private parties.
Experience Teaching:
My 5 years of experience include: - Piano instructor for beginner's for students ranging from 4 years old to adults in McAllen, TX - Middle school choir director in San Antonio, TX.
