I began playing guitar at age 14 and have been playing for 20 years. I took private lessons through out high school, learning a lot of classic rock and blues, along with theory such as the modes of the major scale and the cycle of 5ths. When I was 18 I purchased my first bass guitar and made that my focus.I graduated and received a BA in music from Eastern University in 2009. While in school I also gained knowledge in piano and jazz guitar. I have now taught guitar on and off for about 10 years. My students have ranged from age 5 to 30 years old. I enjoy teaching music and feel that my patience and enthusiasm make me a great teacher.
