About Me

I have been playing the flute for 6 years, but have had a rigorous education and an assortment of private lessons teachers along with one in the Jacksonville Symphony. I have been apart of the Allstate Band in Florida 2 times, which many young musicians aspire and practice to partake in. I additionally have traveled to Chicago and Los Angeles for international music conferences.

Formal Education:

I attend Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, and have been taught privately by Rhonda Cassano with the Jacksonville Symphony, and participate in the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra's highest performing ensemble, the Philharmonic Orchestra.

Private Education:

I have been studying privately for 3 years with Rhonda Cassano of the Jacksonville Symphony.

Performing Experience:

I have performed numerous times for Florida's state and district Solo and Ensemble festivals, I performed with the United States Army Field Band in Indiana, performed in a masterclass with Jim Walker at Colburn Conservatory in Los Angeles, numerous quintets with the JSYO, and with my band at the International Midwest Conference in Chicago, along with many others.

Experience Teaching:

At Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, we are required every year to have a 'mentee', of whom we teach all year long to get better, which I have done for 2 years now. I have gone around to several middle schools as well and taught kids how to play the flute. Also, I partake in leadership positions at school to assist fellow flute players in getting better.
