My name is Kevin. I'm in my mid-twenties and I have been playing guitar for more than eleven years. I am 100% self-taught; I play anything from Pink Floyd to Metallica, and newer bands. I want to teach the importance of fine arts and to help someone pick up on a great skill. I mainly play rock/metal, but know acoustics as well. I am passionate, eager, and determined to bring the joy of music into so many lives.

Kevin J is proficient in and teaches Guitar Lessons .Formal Education:
Four years of music theory (high school)
1 year of guitar ensemble (high school)
Performing Experience:
I have performed in my high school's top choir and have been playing in and out of many bands for eight years. I have played in many well known venues such as House of Blues. Over the years my bandmates and I have been opening acts for the bands Eye Empire, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Hawthorne Heights, Like Moths to Flames, This or the Apocalypse, and Trivium.

I've been providing one-on-one private lessons for two years with students of all ages, but primarily young adults.
