Think of Music like learning a language. How did we first start learning our native language? We heard spoken sounds and began repeating them over and over until we were able to repeat them exactly how we heard them. And overtime through trial and error, we developed our own unique way of speaking. This same applies to Music. Music Theory, Chord Progression, Scales, Modes, and all that technical stuff is helpful later on to build an abstract, more articulate way of playing. But first it is best to learn by playing from all of your favorite artists (Kind of like how we first learned our native language from our parents) This is the fastest and most natural way of learning. It also will keep it fun!
