I will encourage students to express themselves creatively through songwriting while teaching them the skills to craft and structure their ideas into a professional finished product. I will provide instruction in Pop Music Theory as necessary and provide guidance while allowing the student to develop their own writing style.

I will teach students in their areas of interest according to their skill level as well as working to gradually broaden their horizons and versatility as a player. I will encourage students to have an active role in determining their own curriculum to ensure their continued interest in learning the instrument.
