About Me

Hannah began singing around the age of 4-years-old. Over the years, she developed her skills further by taking formal choral training through primary, middle and high school. She gained performance experience in the Daytona Beach/Jacksonville area by playing at such venues as Tir Na Nog Irish Pub in Daytona Beach and more recently Nighthawks in Jacksonville and with acts ranging from fully instrumented rock bands to locally well-known hip-hop artists in the surrounding areas. Though Hannah can teach many different genres of music, her musical personal favorites are jazz/soul & R&B/hip-hop which had great influence on her style of playing. Hannah loves music because it's a way of connecting and relating to people. It's also a way of expressing and healing oneself. Hannah loves teaching music because it allows her an opportunity to share her passion and joy of music with someone of similar interests. Beginner - Intermediate

Vocal strengthening, breath control, vocal confidence/individualistic vocal styling, introduction to songwriting

What to expect in my Song Writing Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

Songwriting formatting, studied formulas to popular music songwriting book, poetry/spoken word/rap writing

Formal Education:

Primary through high school vocal training through chorus. Performed all through these grades as well and took drama/theater performing arts classes though high school.

Private Education:

Privately trained myself throughout time in university. Worked on identifying and honing in on my own individualistic style/sound. Perfected the sound and style of my music following graduationg of undergrad and relocation to the Tampa/Clearwater areas. Here I was privately trained by my vocal coach until I moved back to my hometown after 2 years.

Performing Experience:

Performing since elementary school up until currently in my life. I am an independent artist who genre (although I prefer no descriptives/labeling terms) would be considered Jazz/soul with influences from Hip-Hop/R&B

Experience Teaching:

Have taught others informally since middle/high school, but most recently decided to pursue teaching formally and specifically within the music/entertainment field
