About Me

*Lessons at my Studio in Fairfield, Ohio or WebCAM* MUSIC IS FREEDOM! I have been playing instruments for 31 years. Amazing how the time goes. In that time I have learned how to play guitar, piano, ukulele, bass, and the mandolin. Music is a passion, a creative outlet and so many other adjetives. Teaching is something that I just stumbled on and have been an instructor for many years, teaching students with an age range from 5 to 64. The trick is to make it fun, however still have accountability so you can reach your goal. Being a trainer and real estate agent as well, there is another mind dynamic that I bring with my lessons. Not just for music but turn it into life lessons as well. Especially for kids. Music does so much for the soul once the craft is learned, it easys the overstimulated world we live in. Having been in many succesful bands that have opened up for the likes of, Uncle Kracker, Colt Ford, Maddie and Tae, and a few others, there is a lot that I have learned with my journey through music that I get a profound comfort in being able to share it with musicians that want to learn!!

What to expect in my

Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced

I can teach, guitar, ukulele, bass, mandolin, beginner piano and vocals. Expect a fun environment and a lesson plan based on your goals. However please be prepared to invest the time into yourself. Investing money for lessons is one thing. Investing in your time is another. In order to take advantage of the lessons you must be ready to practice a minimum of 20 minutes a day. I understand that sometimes you may miss a day, however for the most part, in order to advance with your lessons, it will take 20 minutes a day minimum to get the most out of your lessons. I look forward to helping you with your musical journey!

Formal Education:

Music Theory in School and private lessons

Private Education:

3 years classical, 2 years Jazz. Self taught 25 plus years Semester of Music Theory

Performing Experience:

Opened for National Acts Uncle Kracker, Maddie and Tae, Picks and Grins, Colt Ford. Started in School Talent Shows, Battle of the Bands, Festivals, Bars, and Coffee houses for the the past 31 years playing, guitar, mandolin, ukulele, bass, and piano in bands.

Experience Teaching:

I have done numerous private lessons for over 10 years. My clients have included family, friends and clients from here. Age raging from 5 to 64 so far..
