Pingis a violist living and performing in Cincinnati, OH. She began her career in Taiwan as a member of a string quartet, choir and orchestra. She was a prize winner on a local radio competition as a string quartet member and performed frequently at National Concert Halls. She then spent four years working on her Bachelor’s degree in Taipei, Taiwan with a major of viola performance and a minor of piano performance. After receiving her Bachelor’s degree, she moved to Cincinnati to continue her studies with a Graduate Incentive Award Scholarship. She completed with a Masters of Music as well as an Artist Diploma at University of Cincinnati, College-Conservatory of Music under Dr. Catharine Lees and Mr. Masao Kawasaki. At CCM she studied chamber music under Ariel Quartet and was a member of CCM Philharmonia and Concert Orchestra. She performed four solo recitals and two chamber recitals during her Master’s program. As a chamber musician, she was a fellowship artist in Cincinnati Young Artist Chamber Music Festival 2019 and has participated in Green Mountain Chamber Music Festival in 2016 under violinist Lynn Chang.
