Hi, my name is Ryann, and I am a Classically trained pianist from Atlanta, GA. I have been a student of music for 16 years. My musical influences include Brahms, Chopin, Grieg, Debussy, Erroll Garner, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, Alicia Keys, John Legend. I also enjoy modern music as well. My teaching style can best be described as laid back but focused. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I strive for success through diligence and patience. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to have fun and enjoy what you are learning. I like to tell my students to relax and don't overthink things.. My favorite thing about teaching is progressing to more difficult music and techniques through confidence and persistence. My students love that I mix genres of music. I primarily teach modern, but I can also teach jazz and classical as well. My approach as a teacher is to gain the trust of the student to help them build confidence in what they are learning.
