Hi, my name is Nicholas, and I am a guitar player from Dallas, Texas. I have been a student of music for 15 years. My musical influences include Jimi Hendrix and I also enjoy BB King. My teaching style can best be described as a gentle mentorship My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I give my students a space to learn comfortably. In my lessons, you can expect to learn musicality, technicality, and overall appreciation. I like to tell my students “you are the only one who can learn. I can only guide you." My favorite thing about teaching is providing my students with a self-confidence to attack life. My favorite performance was either Fortress Fest in Fort Worth or the New Orleans date of the Flying Lotus 3D tour. My students love that I have professional experience yet remain approachable. I primarily teach blues/jazz/rock guitar, but I can also teach blues/jazz/rock/funk bass. My approach as a teacher is to ignite the fire of curiosity in my students and allow them to come to me seeking the knowledge I planned to impart. Thanks for taking a look at my profile.
