Originally from New Orleans Louisiana I started playing guitar at 13. It was my mother who got me interested, she has played as long as can remember. At 13 I bought a guitar from my friend and have been playing ever sense. I learned how to play on my own from various guitar players, instructional books and  hours upon hours of practice. I worked in the French Quarter of New Orleans at a blues club for years and picked up a lot of my experience from many guitar players that would play at the club. I started a rock band and played venues all over the New Orleans area for 10 years. I have also helped write songs for local bands in the area and would fill in for bands that needed a guitarist for whatever reasons. In 2005 I moved to California and joined a Christian rock band and have been writing music daily. I have taught family and friends and many others the basics to get them on he right track to becoming great guitarist. Rock and Blues is my specialty and I love to play and teach young people how to play. I have an 8 year old son who I'm teaching now and enjoy it as much as he does. Altogether I have been playing for 23 years and have been teaching anyone willing to learn for 10 years. I am not your conventional instructor. I can not teach you how to read music or deep theory but can teach you how to play and get you on the right path to unlock the player inside.
