Zachary B.

Hi, my name is Zachary. I am a student at UCF and I play the violin. I have been a student of music for 12 years. My musical influences include my uncle who went to Berklee College of Music, my mother who has supported me throughout my entire musical journey, and my teachers for always encouraging me to do what I love. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I provide the best environment for my students to learn while having fun. In my lessons, you can expect to learn the Suzuki method, fiddle music, and movie music. My favorite thing about teaching is being able to give back the wonderful experience I have had with music and teach children something that they can use and perfect for the rest of their lives. I primarily teach violin, but I can also teach basic snare drum and mallet percussion techniques. My approach as a teacher is to allow my students to enjoy taking music lessons and progress in their musical capabilities at an acceptable rate that suits them.
