Tay has always loved music from an early age. He began playing at the age of 2 and continued his education by attending ATLANTA Institute School of Music and Media(AIMM). His musical influences include, Chris Coleman, Dave Weckl, Dennis Chambers, and many more.Tay's favorite thing about music is learning challenging records and his favorite thing about teaching music is seeing all of his students not only learn from him but increase in their passion for music and drums. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when he had 5 autistic students who were affected by his teaching abilities. These 5 students, not only grew a passion for drums but a musical passion that increase their learning abilities.
