About Me

My name is HunterI am a Guitarist/ Singer working in the St. Louis area who specializes in Blues, Rock n Roll, County and Folk. I have been a full time working musician in the St. Louis music scene since I moved here in October 2018. I play every weekend and most weeknights with a number of bands including my own and solo performances. Music has been a big part of my life sense I was a very young. As a kid my Dad was a professional concert pianist and worked as a music coordinator at a variety of different churches and because of that at an early age I was taking piano and guitar lessons and playing at Church every Sunday. At about 11 years old I decided that the guitar was what i wanted to do and ever since it has been my true passion! In Highschool I was playing all around the Denver area, working at a record store, and in charge of music services at a number of churches. After Highschool i began playing fulltime and giving private vocal and guitar lessons then moved down to St. Louis and keep doing that. Music is how I make 100% of my income and due to Covid it has become increasingly more difficult. I would love to start taking on more students not only so i could continue doing what i love but because music, i believe is one of the most beautiful and necessary things. My goal as a music teacher and friend is to play a part in helping people reach there musical goas and dreams! It changed my life and I would love to help it change other peoples as well!

Performing Experience:

I fist started performing in church at around the age of 10. All throughout highschool i played in church and played weekend gigs around the Denver/ Boulder area. Now music is how i make all of my income, that means i am performing at various Bars, Clubs and theaters around the St. Louis area week days and weekends.

Experience Teaching:

Throughout Highschool i held a number of Students studding guitar and music theory. Sense I moved to St. Louis I haven't been teaching as much because most of my time is taken up preforming or recording but i have had a couple of guitar students here and there.
