My teaching experience is in dance and as a Sunday School instructor; teaching music will be a first for me. I am a self-taught musician and have been playing the soprano recorder for four years and will soon begin the fifth year, a landmark accomplishment for me. I play primarily old time gospel and Christian music as well as Christmas Carols and will be introducing country music into my repertoire. I wish to do conserts as a volunteer and hope that the occasions will arise in the near future. I read music and would teach beginning classes traditionally. I am retired and spend my days as an artist, musician and exercise instructor/Qi Gong instructor. I recently published an illustrated book of Christian prose/poetry.

Formal Education:
I have a Bachelor's Degree from Washington University in St. Louis where I majored in Cultural Anthropology and minored in Dance. I also have a diploma in Fine Arts from Penn Foster College in Scranton, PA.
Performing Experience:
I was a lead dancer in two International Folk Dance ensembles and studied dance in Greece for a season.
Experience Teaching:
I taught dance for approximately ten years and have taught Sunday School classes for eight years. Teaching music will be a new adventure.
