About Me

Hi, my name is Samantha. I am a mezzo-soprano with different vocal styles. I love music from the 60s to the music we listen to on the radio. Furthermore, in the 4th grade I started singing with my school's church choir. In high school, I joined the wind ensemble to play various instruments and learn how to conduct. During that same time, I performed in talent shows and school musical productions. When senior year approached, I found myself co-directing one of the school's musicals and that was an experience. Music has always been my safe space, so I decided to move forward with music. I obtained my associate's in Fine Arts in Music. During that time, I learned my voice and different styles from Mozart and Hayden Classical to Waitress and Wicked Musical; I even learned to sing in different languages. In addition, I got the opportunity to perform in many competitions and meet many professionals. I also got the opportunity to perform a lead in the musical Anything Goes; it was amazing. Currently, I am looking to study Music Therapy and continue and my music learning.

Beginner -

I will start off the lesson with looking into any songwriting that may be in the works. I will go over what you have. Furthermore, I will show the basics of song writing, including tips and tricks I learned over the years.

What to expect in my Vocal Lessons

Beginner - Intermediate

During my vocal lessons, we will have a couple of minutes of free time. Thus, meaning you can show me new songs that you are interested in or songs you like to sing. Moving from that, I will continue the lesson. I will teach tips and tricks that I learned from the years, starting with the basics of how to properly sing.
