Hey...I'm Rick I've been playing/teaching professionally since High School. I toured the world in my 20's with the USO performing for the Air Force men and women serving overseas.. I've played in jazz, folk, country, and rock bands most of my life, so whatever it is you are wanting to learn, I'm sure I can provide that to you. Thanks so much!

What to expect in my Drum Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
We will start with the basics: stick position, rudiments, and timing. Then progress to reading drum charts and playing songs.
What to expect in my Guitar Lessons
Beginner - Intermediate - Advanced
We will start with the fundamentals: open chords, scales, fingering, etc. Then we will learn how to read tabs, play songs, and how to play with others .
Formal Education:
Bachelors Degree in Music at Memphis State University
Private Education:
Studied percussion under Frank Schaeffer.
Performing Experience:
Started performing professionally in High School. Performed in Europe and the Mediterranean with thee USO performing for the Air Force. Have performed with Al Green and Rufus and Carla Thomas and shared the stage with R.E.M. Have performed at Elvis's Graceland and The Hard Rock Cafe.
