Cory has always loved music from an early age. He began playing guitar at the age of 12 and continued his education by completing 5 years of band in school before forming his own band and playing shows around the state of New Mexico. His musical influences include The Beatles and Justin Timberlake along with numerous others. Cory's favorite thing about music is the universal language that is music and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping others develop their skills in order to express themselves in a way that words never could. One of his favorite teaching experiences was watching his first student progress from learning his first chord, to playing his first song, to playing his first performance.
