About Me

Brian began playing guitar at the age of 7. Over the years, he developed his skills further by becoming a dedicated student to all genres of the guitar. He gained performance experience in the Athens, Ga and Nashville, Tn area by playing at such venues as the Georgia theater and the 40 watt and with acts such as Radiolucent, Charlie garret band, and various recording artists in the studio. Though Brian can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are rockin’ electric guitar, blues electric and softer acoustic, which had great influence on his style of playing. Brian loves music because it’s the ultimate form of expression and loves teaching music because it’s fulfilling. What to expect in my Guitar Lessons

Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate

I bring a level of fun to teaching. Beginner students will never get bored. Advanced students will be challenged. I can have you learning the songs and playing styles you always wanted, with the use of what I like to call “string theory”.

Formal Education:

Over 7 years of classical training myself, with 2 years at Berklee College of Music.

Performing Experience:

I’ve played with dozens of groups over the years and been a session player/hired gun for several solo recording artists.

Experience Teaching:

Over 10 years experience teaching guitar.
