Hi, my name is Markis and I am a Singer and actor from Scranton, PA. I have been a student of music for 12years. My musical influences include Whitney Houston, Lauryn Hill, Nat King Cole and Ella Fitzgerald and I also enjoy hiking, animals and video games. My teaching style can best be described as eccentric, bold and inspiring. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that I aim to push students out of their comfort zone and into exploration. In my lessons, you can expect to learn to perform authentically by making big, bold choices. I like to tell my students go farther than you think you can. My favorite thing about teaching is learning too! My favorite performance has yet to come. My students love that I honest and energetic.
