I work primarily in contemporary rock/pop genres, country music, world music, and I have knowledge in jazz and classical styles. It is my goal as a teacher to make students self-sufficient in making music through means of playing by ear, improvisation and reading music. A little about me. I have a Master’s Degree in Music. I have taught all levels of in-school music class from elementary to college, and have taught private lessons for 8 years in Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums and Saxophone. I really enjoy working with beginners, and introducing kids and adults to music. I live in South Austin with my fiancé who is also a musician.
