Disappointing Experience with Unstructured Vocal and Songwriting Lessons
I signed up for vocal and songwriting lessons with Khatysia, hoping to improve my skills and learn new techniques. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of expectations. The vocal lessons felt unstructured, with very little guidance on technique. I often felt like I wasn't getting specific feedback or direction that would actually help me improve. The songwriting lessons weren't much better. Khatysia didn't seem to have a clear plan or structure for the lessons, which often felt like we were just talking without any focused exercises or takeaways. I expected to dive deep into song structure, lyric development, and melody, but instead, the sessions felt more like casual chats. Overall, I feel like I didn't get much value from the lessons.
