Drew began playing guitar and bass at the age of 8. Over the years, he developed his skills further by improvising with other musicians. He gained performance experience in the Charleston area by playing at such venues as Music Farm and Charleston Pour House and with acts such as Hi Hungry and Botanical Selections. Though Drew can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are funk, jazz, folk, and punk, which had great influence on his style of playing. Drew loves music because it is vital and loves teaching music because helping people get to where they want to be musically can bring beautiful art into the world.
