Garrett began playing music at the age of 12. Over the years, he developed his skills further by learning and performing on several instruments and over many genres. He gained performance experience in the Nashville and Fort Worth areas by playing at such venues as Broadway and various concert halls. Though Garrett can teach many different genres of music, his musical personal favorites are country, jazz, R&B, and rock, which had great influence on his style of playing.Garrett loves teaching music because he believes that everyone should have the oppourtunity to incorporate music into their everyday lives.
