Lamonte has always loved music from an early age. He began playing drums at the age of 3 and continued his education by taking lessons, playing in church to playing as a full time professional drummer that has traveled the world. His musical influences include Billy Cobham, Dennis Chambers, Dave Weckl and Calvin Rodgers to name a few. Lamonte 's favorite thing about music is that it’s for everyone and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping someone take there playing to the next level. One of his favorite teaching experiences was watching my student record a song and watching the smile they had knowing that was them playing. When taking lessons with Lamonte you can expect to have fun but be challenged.
