About Me
With 10+ years of music experience, I have fine-tuned my craft through performance, gigging, private lessons, college-level courses, pedagogical direction, and teaching. I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible musicians that have molded me into a mature musician that works with intention, especially in teaching settings. Working with me, you’ll get access to all of the amazing skills, activities, and exercises I have accumulated over the years, as well as knowledge into how to utilize tools to your musical benefit that many neglect to include. I also have an extensive background in a number of different genres so no matter what your particular interest in music is, we can craft our lessons around your passions. Lessons with me will be a good amount of work to be sure, but I always aspire to create a fun environment for my students. Feel free to message me with any possible questions!

What to expect in my Orchestral Lessons

Beginner - Advanced - Intermediate

Students seeking DOUBLE BASS lessons (Taylor Robinson lists this as “Orchestral” however I teach Jazz Double Bass as well) can expect a lesson experience that focuses heavily on things such as fundamentals, practice exercises, walking (Jazz), soloing (Jazz), harmony instruction, and so much more. Students will be encouraged to use tools and previous knowledge to advance their Double Bass skills by stepping out of their comfort zone, as to achieve a wholistic experience with their instrument. We will even have exercises where we reflect on strengths and weaknesses.
