About Me

Jason is a music educator and composer who graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Music Education this spring. At Nebraska he served for two years as drum major for the Cornhusker Marching Band, as a student ambassador for the Hixson-Lied College of Fine & Performing Arts, and actively premiered new compositional works in the school of music. This fall he will be starting as a Master of Music in Composition student at the University of Kansas while additionally serving as a teaching assistant for the Marching Jayhawks. In his free time he enjoys being outdoors and spending time with friends. Jason is very excited to meet new people and collaborate with hardworking musicians this fall!
