After establishing a students experience level, they can expect to learn new material based on their current skills. Beginners will learn the fundamentals and can expect to learn basic chords to be able to play most popular songs. Most intermediate level players will learn more technical aspects to music, eventually learning to play on the fly or improvisation. Advanced level players will be learning material that will sharpen their current skills, learning techniques that the professionals use and how to be the top pick guitarist in any situation. Varying levels of some music theory may be used when necessary. Students are expected to bring their own guitar. They will learn and practice on that guitar.
