She began playing clarinet at the age of ten and continued her education by pursuing a Bachelor’s of Music education degree from Delta State University. Her musical influences include Gershwin, Mozart and Maria Callas. Mallory's favorite thing about music is the storytelling aspect and her favorite thing about teaching music is watching student’s love for music bloom. One of her favorite teaching experiences was Calvary Episcopal children’s choir.
