Hi, my name is Amy! I have been a student of music for 16 years. My musical influences include classical players from symphonies all over the world and I also enjoy metal. My teaching style can best be described as detailed but fun. My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying that everyone can learn something new each time they play. In my lessons, you can expect to learn everything from Bach to John Williams. I like to tell my students to enjoy the music they play and always look forward to the next practice session. My favorite thing about teaching is sharing my love of music with others. I primarily teach classical techniques, but I can also teach pop, jazz and folk styles.
